simple and cute :)

Hi guys! Today I went for a simple design. In my area, the Dollar Tree stores had a ton of LA Colors nail polish. I bought one of each color just to try. I really like this color, it's called "Paradise Breeze". I used a white stamping polish and a fauxnad M78 (which are pretty much exact to the Konad ones). I used 2 coats of the purple. It was a bit thick and it took FOREVER to dry. I still like this color a lot :)

Happy Memorial Day!

I was debating whether or not to do red or blue, or red and blue, or what. I decided to do the feature nail China Glaze "Frostbite" (blue) and then the red is OPI for Sephora "Sample Sale". Those are stars on the white tips btw! :)

Pretty and girlie...

I felt like green today, but I wanted something girlie as well. I came up with a compromise! OPI "Don't Mess with OPI" and white stamping polish. Simple, clean, and a bit out of the ordinary :)

Is this naughty?

I really find cherries naughty. They have so many connotations that are. Anyway, I felt a little like naughty Lolita or something doing this polish. Doesn't mean I don't LOVE it! I used the OPI Nicki Minaj Collection "Pink Friday". Then, the OPI for Sephora nail art stickers by Betsey Johnson all covered with 2 coats of Seche Vite. I can't decide whether to call it "Pink Sundae", "Friday Sundae", or "Cherries on Friday" Which would you choose?

Leather and Lace

This combo reminds me of leather and lace. I don't know why. I am still getting the hang of using my stamping plates. This is China Glaze "Lubu Heels" with a white stamping polish. I think it turned out well, but surely I will do better in the future. :)

That makes me very angry!

I love Marvin the Martian. I have had these water decals forever...seriously like 15 years. Surprised they still worked. I was feeling a bit retro, so I decided to use them. And on top of "Did It On 'Em" from the OPI Nicki Minaj, which is a great obnoxious retro color in my opinion, I think it turned out well. It feels very 70's to me. What do you think?

So this is an old one because I am still rocking my Monarch Butterflies. I absolutely love this color. It's China Glaze Lubu Heels. A black base with red sparkly glitter. The glitter is hard to see here, and I apologize for that. This is also a time when my nails were CRAZY long. I mean LOOK AT THEM! lol Stupid stubbies right now make me wanna cry. Oh well, they grow back! Have a great night!

Happy Monday! (Or not..it's Monday) Anyway, hope you all had a good weekend. It was rainy and gross here, so I had plenty of time on my hands for indoor activities. After breaking my nails on Friday, arrgh, I filed them all off and was left with stubbies...well, for me anyway. I decided to use my Bundle Monster plates, and water marbling, and my new dotting tool for the design above. I had the time :) Base orange- OPI Tangerine Scene. Can't remember which Bundle Monster plate I used....the one that looks like a  rock pathway with OPI Black Onyx. Then, I water marbled on top of that with OPI Black Onyx and OPI Don't Touch My Tutu in large swirls. Then followed up with actually the Salon Express white stamping polish for the dots. Finished with 2 coats of Seche Vite. I know it looks like many a butterfly lost their lives for the sake of my nails, but no wildlife was harmed in the creation of this design :)

Happy Friday! Today I just did a clear coat with some stick on bathtub anti-slip designs! (you know you thought the same thing). However, within 3 hours of doing this, I broke a damn nail. What better way to end an overly crappy week!! Seems like that's going around :)

I about died when I saw this stamping plate online at chez-delany.com! I got it in the mail last night. Totally impressed by an overseas shipper that took less than 2 weeks. Kudos!!! Anyway, I have been a HUGE fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas since it came out. I know I might be too old to harbor love for Disney movies, but at 35, I DON'T think I'm too old :) The background color is OPI Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees. It's a lovely hematite (gun metal grey, if you will) color. Just a generic white stamping polish for the design...seriously I can't remember the brand. Hope you all have a great day!!!

Hi peeps! LOL Today I feel sort of blah. Had to go to the doctor, and had little time to do something spectacular today....or what I would consider spectacular anyway. At any rate, here is the Finger Paint magnetic polish I picked up today...Electro-Midnight I think....Used my China Glaze magnet with it to make the star burst design, which I MUST use always for some reason. I really should branch out with the other magnet patterns. Have a great night!

My Bundle Monster "fauxnads" came in the mail. I did a sea theme on my fingers and toes, but I think I'll only post my fingers. As I do like my feet, I know most people are not fans of feet in general, so fingers only :) Simple enough design, base: OPI for Sephora- Mermaid to Order, and OPI Black Onyx for the seahorse.

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! This is a freehand design. I used OPI Big Apple Red, OPI Alpine Snow, and OPI Don't Mess with OPI. I used 2 different Bundle Monster plates and overlapped them for my generic symbol to somewhat resemble the flag. Hope everyone has a great day!
